Voters select G.I. Public School Board members in two wards

GRAND ISLAND – Grand Island voters selected board members for two wards for the Grand Island Public Schools Board of Education.

In Ward A, Donna Douglass received 6,160 votes.

In Ward B, Lisa Albers received 2,747 votes, while Tracy Goodman received 2,676 votes. There are 378 outstanding ballots that will be counted in the next seven to 10 days. Dave Hulinsky received 2,608 votes. Two people were elected to Ward B. Albers is an incumbent.

In Ward C, Josh Hawley received 1,646 votes, compared to 1,390 votes for John McHargue. One board member was elected for Ward C. Hawley is an incumbent.

Goodman, Hulinsky, and McHargue were endorsed by Chaperone, a political action committee.
