GRAND ISLAND — A man was arrested in Grand Island for assault after police say he struck his brother in the head with a pan.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers responded to E. 16th St. around 1 p.m. A 23-year-old male reported that he had been assaulted by his brother, Mayra Almayra.
Police say Almayra identified himself and admitted to striking his brother with the pan. The brother had a bloody injury to his face that required medical attention.
Almayra was arrested for second degree assault.
