Vehicle stolen from Grand Island recovered in Douglas County

GRAND ISLAND — A vehicle that was stolen from Grand Island was later recovered in Douglas County on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, a 26-year-old woman reported that a suspect had stolen her 2007 Honda Pilot SUV from her driveway.

The vehicle was valued at $4,500 and had been left unlocked with the keys inside.

The vehicle was entered as stolen and was later recovered by the Nebraska State Patrol in Douglas County.

The GIPD continues to investigate the theft.
