City of Hastings hosting 18th annual Candy Cane Hunt

HASTINGS — The City of Hastings Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting its 18th Annual Candy Cane Hunt on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Chautauqua Park.

The candy cane hunt is a free event and will be for ages 0-10. Age divisions will be divided into two groups. The hunt will begin at 2 p.m. sharp on the south side of the park across from the Skate Park, along Third Street. We ask all children to be there 5-10 minutes early.

There will be special prizes given out to those who find an extra-large candy cane. Participants are asked to bring their own bags to put the candy canes in.
