City of Hastings Offices (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
HASTINGS — The City of Hastings offices will close at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and will be closed all day on Wednesday, Dec. 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday.
Front desk services will be unavailable at:
- Hastings Police Department
- Hastings Fire and Rescue
- Administration
- Finance
- Hastings Utilities
- Hastings Municipal Airport, and
- Parks and Recreation Department 911 and utility emergency services will remain available.
Solid Waste Landfill:
- Tuesday, Dec. 24: close at noon
- Wednesday, Dec. 25: Closed
Hastings Public Library:
- Tuesday, Dec. 24: Close at 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 25: Closed
Hastings Museum:
- Tuesday, Dec. 24: Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 25 closed
- All other hours are normal
- The Hastings Museum is closed to the public on Mondays during the winter.
New Years 2025
The City of Hastings offices will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 in observance of the New Year holiday. Front desk services will be unavailable at
- Hastings Police Department
- Hastings Fire and Rescue
- Administration
- Finance
- Hastings Utilities
- Hastings Municipal Airport
- Hastings Museum
- Hastings Public Library, and
- Parks and Recreation Department.
911 and utility emergency services will remain available. Normal hours of operation will resume for these departments on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.
The Hastings Public Library will close at 5 p.m., on New Year’s Eve.
The Solid Waste Landfill will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1 and reopen Tuesday Jan. 2, 2024.
