KEARNEY — Kearney Tomorrow: 2050 is a visionary initiative with the City of Kearney, Kearney Chamber of Commerce, and Economic Development Council for Buffalo County designed to guide the long-term growth and development of our community.
This public engagement process will allow leaders to hear what residents of Kearney want over the next 25 years. Some of the ideas may include short-term needs while others may be long-term visions.
These ideas will be put into a collaborative document for the entities of Kearney to work towards over the next 25 years. They will be prioritized to ensure that we have a collaborative strategy to accomplish this vision. This process focuses on growth, economic vitality, and quality of life, so that Kearney remains a thriving and vibrant place for future generations.
Through community engagement, data-driven planning, and innovative solutions, Kearney Tomorrow: 2050 will address key areas such as business expansion, community amenities, green spaces, housing, transportation, and technological advancements.
