KEARNEY — A two semi accident took place near the intersection of E. 56th St. and Antelope Ave. during the early afternoon hours of Tuesday, May 6.
Around 1 p.m., the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department and CHI Health Good Samaritan EMS were dispatched to the intersection due to a third-party report of a two semi-trailer accident.
Arriving on scene, one semi hauling a grain trailer with front end damage had come to a stop on the shoulder of Antelope Ave., north of the intersection. A larger piece of debris had come to rest near the intersection.
Another semi had stopped on E. 56th St., east of the intersection.
Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office deputies on scene began their investigation of the incident at the scene. The Kearney Police Department also responded to the scene.
The Good Samaritan ambulance left the scene with its emergency lights activated.
The cause of the accident and extent of any injuries was not available on the scene.
