GRAND ISLAND — The winning ticket for CHI Health St. Francis Foundation’s eight annual Ticket to Win fundraising raffle will be announced Thursday, June 5 at the hospital. The public is invited to the free open house beginning at 4:30 p.m. with raffle ticket prize drawing at 6:30 p.m.

The open house will feature appetizers, cocktails and a silent and live auction. Several must-be-present-to-win door prizes, including four prizes for general attendees and three prizes for emergency first responders, will be drawn during the hospital’s premiere fundraiser.

Tickets for a chance to win a $10,000 cash grand prize, $5,000 first prize, or one of ten $500 cash card prizes, will also be available to purchase at the event. Ticket to Win raffle ticket holders do not need to be present to win.

Half of all proceeds from Ticket to Win provides life-saving equipment and training to emergency first responders for unbudgeted items in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, Merrick and Greeley counties–over $548,251 since its start.

This year, the remaining half of all proceeds will be directed to the state-of-the-art CHI Health St. Francis Education Simulation Center. A resource for St. Francis clinicians, area emergency medical personnel and the community, the training center will feature an adult and an infant high-fidelity manikin. The computerized manikins mimic human physiology and are used to recreate real-life trauma scenarios providing learners with an opportunity to practice and refine clinical skills by performing a wide range of critical life-saving tasks.
