The NSAA football playoff brackets for 11-man and 6-man football were released Saturday.

In Class A, Omaha Westside is the No. 1 seed, and faces Belevue West. Creighton Prep is the No. 2 seed hosting Lincoln Southwest, and the No. 3 seed is Papillion-La Vista South, who hosts Lincoln North Star. Kearney is the No. 8 seed and will host Columbus Friday at 7PM at UNK’s Cope Stadium, and will be aired on KGFW. Kearney defeated Columbus 10-0 on October 17th.

In Class B, undefeated Waverly is the No. 1 seed, and will host Grand Island Northwest. The No. 2 seed is Gretna East, who will host Lincoln Standing Bear, and the No. 3 seed is Scottsbluff, who hosts York.

In Class C1, four of the top five seeds are undefeated. Wahoo is the No. 1 seed and will host Milford, while Columbus Lakeview is the No. 2 seed hosting Boys Town and No. 3 seed Sidney hosts Pierce. Last year’s runner-up Central City hosts Aurora in the first round in the 7/10 matchup, and No. 11 seed Gothenburg will travel to Fort Calhoun.

The Class C2 bracket has multiple local teams in it, as two of the top three seeds are undefeated. Cedar Catholic is the No. 1 seed, and Hershey will travel to Hartington for the first round. Bishop Neumann is the No. 2 seed, and Arlington will travel to Wahoo, and Kearney Catholic is the No. 3 seed and will host Boone Central. Grand Island Central Catholic is the No. 4 seed, hosting West Point-Beemer, and Doniphan-Trumbull will host Ord in the 8/9 matchup. No. 12 seed Wood River will travel to Fremont to take on No. 5 seed Archbishop Bergan.

The D6 bracket has undefeated Garden County as the No. 1 seed, hosting Crawford. Also undefeated are the No. 2 and 3 seeds, Red Cloud and Southwest. Red Cloud will host Wauneta-Palisade and Southwest hosts Lewiston. last year’s runner up Sumner-Eddyville-Miller is the six seed hosting Potter-Dix, while Silver Lake is the No. 8 seed and hosts Arthur County.

In the second round of the eight man playoffs, Sandy Creek will host Wisner-Pilger, and McCool Junction will travel to Dundy County Stratton for D1 play. In D2, Overton travels to Howells-Dodge, Lawrence-Nelson is at Elmwood-Murdock, Loomis heads to Archangels Catholic in Humphrey, and Central Valley hosts Deshler.
