YORK — The York Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance regarding the fire that occurred at the Wal-Mart located in York on Nov. 16, 2025.
Officers are seeking to identify and speak with any individuals who were inside the Wal-Mart during the time the fire was set. Additionally, the department is asking for anyone who had contact with William Regan Young Eckman, 20, at or around the time of the incident to come forward.
At this time, the York Police Department is gathering information to aid in the ongoing investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity, interacted with the individual named above, or has any information relevant to the case is urged to contact the department and provide a voluntary statement.
Community cooperation is vital, and even small details may assist investigators.
