Interstate 80, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
Weather permitting, work will begin March 23 on Interstate 80 (I-80) from reference post 299.25 to reference post 310.88, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Scodeller Construction, Inc. of Wixom, Mich. is the contractor for this project. Work includes crack sealing. Traffic will be maintained with intermittent lane closures and flagging.
Temporary ramp closures of the Wood River Exit 300 and Alda Exit 305 will occur as needed. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is May 2026.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
