Cash dairy prices were steady to higher on Thursday except for block cheese at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.    Dry whey was up $0.01 at $0.69.  One sale was recorded at that price.  Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.02 at $1.62.  One sale was recorded at that price.  Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.5725.  No sales were recorded.  Butter was up $0.0275 at $1.8450.  Sixteen sales were recorded, ranging from $1.82 to $1.8625.  Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0150 at $1.9375.  Twelve sales were recorded, ranging from $1.9250 to $1.94.
