The Nebraska Department of Health and Human services will be reviewing Medicaid eligibility of it’s member’s beginning March 1, 2023.
Due to recent passed federal legislation, DHHS will be reviewing the eligibility of each Medicaid members. The process will take about 12 months to review all case.
Previously, during COVID-19, Medicaid member’s were able to keep their Medicaid coverage even if they were no longer eligible.
Medicaid members will need to update contact information they have with Nebraska Medicaid. Current contact information is needed to allow Nebraska Medicaid to reach the member.
Failure to update contact information may mean a member could needlessly lose eligibility.
Members can make sure their contact information is up to date by logging into their ACCESSNebraska account or calling toll-free (855) 632-7633.
