The running back room for Nebraska football took a hit Monday.
Coach Matt Rhule announced that Gabe Ervin and Rahmir Johnson were both done for the season with injuries. Ervin (hip) and Johnson (shoulder) both left Saturday’s game against Northern Illinois early but the extent of their injuries at the time was not known.
Rhule also defensive back Dwight Bootle would miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.
