Greater Grand Island Community Foundation to award $281,100 in scholarships for 2024

GRAND ISLAND — The Greater Grand Island Community Foundation proudly announces the recipients of its annual scholarship program. A total of 139 awards, amounting to an impressive $281,100, have been awarded to graduating seniors, current college students, and non-traditional learners, marking a significant investment in academic excellence and empowering students to achieve their educational goals.

The Greater Grand Island Community Foundation’s scholarship program offers financial opportunities for students of all backgrounds and can be granted to traditional and nontraditional students. Scholarships are granted once a year and are decided through a committee.

“We are thrilled to congratulate this year’s deserving scholarship recipients,” said Kendra Lutz, program officer at the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation. “At GGICF, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to fulfill their potential and achieve their educational goals. These scholarships are a testament to our incredibly generous fundholder’s commitment to supporting area students on their journey toward academic and personal success.”
