GRAND ISLAND — The Stuhr Museum Foundation is sponsoring “Get Me to the Church on Time” from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church formerly located at Hampton on the Stuhr Museum grounds.
Couples will have the opportunity to renew their wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. April 28 at the church. Dan Naranjo of All Faiths Funeral Home will lead a group vow renewal ceremony with a live harpist and a ceremonial certificates for participating couples.
From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 28, “Nifty Burgers” provided by Don Deitemeyer and cash beer bar by Steeple Brewing featuring their “Holy Matrimony” grew will be served.
Proceeds will support HVAC installation and maintenance of the historical Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
A free will donation will be offered to participate in the event. The minimum Go Big Give donation is $10. There will be no museum admission fee for participants.
