KEARNEY — A Kearney man is facing five felony charges related to alleged creation of child sexual abuse material and child abuse.

Dylan Judd, 27, is facing two counts of visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct, Class 1D felony, two charges of possession of visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct and commit intentional child abuse, Class 3A felony.

Judd was arraigned in Buffalo County Court on Monday, Aug. 11, where his bail was set a $250,000. He is to have no contact with a minor child or be at a residence on 15th Ave.

A preliminary hearing has been set for Sept. 4 at 10 a.m.

The affidavit supporting continued detention, which details the allegations, has been sealed in this case.

However, the complaint states that Judd is accused of creating and possessing child sexual abuse material between July 25 and Aug. 8. During the same period, he is also charged with child abuse of an eight-year-old minor child.

Judd was arrested and booked into the Buffalo County Jail on Friday, Aug. 8.
