GRAND ISLAND — Law enforcement is investigating a fraudulent order of over $5,000 that was placed with Miller Tires in Grand Island between Monday, Aug. 18 and Tuesday, Aug. 19.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, Miller Tires on Nebraska Highway 2 reported that a suspect placed an order in the amount of $5,890.88 using a stolen credit card number.
Employees with Miller Tires were able to catch the fraud before they fulfilled the order.
The GIPD is currently investigating the incident.
