HASTINGS – One of the premier stars of the GPAC and Hastings College has announced his intention to move on from the Broncos Men’s Basketball program.
Reggie Thomas, a rising sophomore and Omaha native, announced on social media Monday his intention to enter his name into the transfer portal to look for NCAA opportunities.
Thomas, an Omaha Westside grad, averaged over 24 points per game this past season, claiming the GPAC Player of the Year honors after earning freshman of the year in his first season last year. Thomas also shattered the Hastings College single season scoring mark, leading the Broncos to a share of the conference regular season crown and the GPAC Tournament title, as well as an NAIA tournament appearance.
Thomas will have two years of eligibility remaining after completing a transfer.
Thank you to Hastings and Coach
