GRAND ISLAND — The Hall County Sheriff’s Office will take part in the U Drive. U Text. U Pay campaign this April.
The NDOT Highway Safety Office has awarded the Hall County Sheriff’s Office with funding to carry out a Selective Overtime Enforcement for the U Drive. U Text. U Pay. mobilization campaign from April 1 – 8, 2024.
This enforcement will help to reduce fatal and serious distracted driving related injury crashes in Nebraska. NDOT Highway Safety will pay deputies overtime wages up to $4,500.
